48 x 96 walnut dining table with a 1/8" round over on the top edge to soften the table and a reverse bevel across both ends.  Built using 2" Walnut planks

Steel verticals transitioning into a walnut base on the leg - like the Jacob table.  Base on the table would be 28"W.  No stretcher between legs.The top plate for the steel will be 1/4" thick - not visible at all unless you are below the table edge and even then, hardly.
