This walnut dining table on a steel parsons base is the kind of table that you will have and use forever. With its classic styling, it looks great in a range of decor styles and is very strong and durable.

We built the top for this table with 6/4 walnut planks that we planed and sanded, then sealed with an all-natural oil. The oil bonds to the individual wood fibres and cures to a durable matte finish. The table is 36" x 72" which is a nice size for a family dining table or kitchen table as it seats 6 comfortably.

The table top sits on a full steel parson style frame with a black powder coat finish. The result is a base that is durable and very sturdy.

Hardwood Walnut

Walnut is a hardwood that grows in Canadian and US forests. It’s darker in colour, with some great variations in each piece. The older part of a walnut tree is darker while the outer edges of the trunk are lighter in colour.  As a hardwood it will stand up well to the rough and tumble of daily life.

we use a natural hand-rubbed oil for a matte finish

Walnut finish

Walnut pieces are finished with an all-natural European hand rubbed oil finish. The final result is a complete seal with a matte finish. It has a natural, neutral look to it.

Steel Leg Styles

Our tables pair well with steel legs for a timeless look.  We offer a variety of styles of steel legs.  If you prefer a different one than pictured or a different colour than black, message us with your preference.

Table Shipping

We take great care in packaging up our tables to ensure they arrive at their new homes safely.  Each table top is wrapped in foam and cardboard.  The legs are packaged separately with the hardware for assembly included.
