Maple Dining Tables
All of our maple dining tables are made with solid rock maple wood. While hardwoods all are dense woods that are very robust, rock maple is the hardest of the hardwoods we work with. This makes it our recommended choice for young families or other environments where the tables will be used heavily.
Maple has a very tight grain which is what makes it hard. It also gives the wood a fairly consistent color. We finish our maple with an all natural oil that adheres to the fibers of the wood rather than sitting on top of the wood. It cures to a matte finish which highlights the natural beauty of the maple.
