Our hardwood tables are easy to care for.

Daily Care

Your table is solid hardwood. Solid hardwood tables are built to last a very long time. The table isn’t difficult to care for, but there are a few things to keep in mind. Water isn’t your table’s best friend, so we recommend using coasters. It’s ok if it doesn’t happen every time. You’ll just want to wipe up any water (or other liquids) and water rings before too long. We also recommend using trivets or hot pads for anything hot, as heat and hardwood don’t get along so well.

Sometimes Messes Happen

Your table is made to be used and this means that there will be messes. Most of these are easily cleaned up. Crumbs can be wiped up with a dry cloth. Other messes can often be taken care of with a damp cloth. If the mess is more stubborn, you can use Rubio Surface Cleaner, which is made for the finish on your table. We include some of this with your table, and a little really goes a long way. It does not need to be used for routine cleaning. If you run into a mess that is resisting cleaning, reach out. Abrasive cleaners will affect the finish on your table so we can work with you to figure out an alternative. If necessary, because the table is solid hardwood, it can be refinished. Be sure to reach out to us before you take that step.
