Our Delivery
Where possible, we like to deliver your table to you ourselves! This reduces the number of handoffs and we can ensure that it is all set up and fits your space the way you imagined. For our own deliveries , we blanket wrap your table along with tables for 15-20 other families and load them into a cube van. To fill the load we do need to coordinate tables for a number of people, which means that we may need 2-6 weeks (depending where you live) after your table is finished in order to complete the load.
Our driver heads out on his route to make the deliveries according to the scheduled appointments we’ve arranged for you. It's important to note that we need to work together to set up these appointments as a typical route will take our driver through New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey, Virginia, Pennsylvania and other states so we aren’t able to just delay a delivery for a day or two. We’ll do our best to work with your schedule so we need you to also work with ours! It typically works out well.
When our driver arrives at your home, he may need some help to bring your table pieces inside where he will assemble the table for you. A couple of extra hands will also be needed to flip the table over. He’ll answer any questions you have and then take away the packaging so you are ready to enjoy your new table. We currently offer this service on the East Coast of the US and are working on expanding where we can provide our own delivery.
Delivering to you ourselves is the most personal option and gives us a chance to actually meet you.
White Glove
If you prefer to have a team deliver your table and set it up for you, you’ll want to see if white glove delivery is available in your area. For a white glove delivery, we blanket wrap your disassembled table to prep it for shipping to our partner’s hub in North Carolina. We send a pallet to them every 2 weeks or so.
Once it arrives in their warehouse, they queue your table up to move through their system to the local depot. The local company will make an appointment with you for a team of 2 people to deliver your table to your home, set it up and take away the packaging. This is the ‘done for you’ option but it can take up to 6 weeks after leaving our shop to get to you.
LTL / Freight Carrier
We can ship your table with a freight carrier like RL Carriers to pretty much any destination in Canada or the United States. When we ship with a freight carrier, we package your table in layers of styrofoam and cardboard and contact the carrier to come pick it up.
It travels through the carrier's system until it arrives in a warehouse that is local to you. They contact you to book a delivery appointment, then deliver it curbside. In all cases, the safest way to ship a table is disassembled, so you will need to bring it into your home and assemble it. It’s typically pretty straightforward, and we provide assembly instructions and hardware.
If speed matters to you, this is one of the quickest ways to get your table to you.

“I couldn't be happier with my custom table and experience with Loewen Design Studios. … Delivery was the perfect finishing touch. The owner's brother delivered and assembled the table in my dining room. It's clear this family business takes real pride in their work. Thank you guys so much!”

“This is a very special, custom built heavy piece of furniture. The color and size was made to order for our exact needs. The white glove service was great; the delivery guys unpacked it, put it together, and took away the trash. It’s the perfect table.”
