Description
Blend rustic and farmhouse styling with this Barron rectangle dining table. This table channels its farmhouse roots with solid proportions, trestle style base, and textured finish. The clean lines and updated finishes allow it to fit well into modern farmhouse kitchens and dining rooms.
Our Barron collection features rustic maple wood. Rustic maple has a textured, worn look from the saw marks that have been intentionally left. The tables are all sanded and sealed multiple times with stain and lacquer to end up with a finish that has character but nothing rough enough for the table to be hard to use. These saw marks are unique in each table top. The different textures in the wood absorb color differently giving the table a unique look. Reinforcing the farmhouse style, the bolts for the trestle remain visible as an accent. Being made of solid maple wood, these tables are heavy.
The design of the Barron farmhouse table draws strength and stability from its sturdy base. The chunky H-shaped legs near each end create a solid and wide base. These legs are connected to each other with a stringer to make it a trestle-style base. With the legs being close to the ends, leg room on the ends is somewhat reduced. Other design details include a 8/4" thick table top with a traditional square Seymour edge.

All of our tables are made from solid hardwood. As a natural product, each piece of wood has its own uniqueness.
- Natural wood has variation in the grain.
- Solid wood will expand and contract in different climates
- Most of our walnut has sap wood, which introduces some variance in color into the wood

Delivery
Getting your table to you safely is part of our commitment to you. You’ve made the investment in high quality hardwood furniture and we’ve taken the time to build and finish it just for you.
A full description of how we can deliver your table is available here. Essentially we can ship to you via freight carrier, with a white glove service, or with our delivery van & trailer. Which options are available for your table will depend on where you live and how quickly you need it and if you can help with delivery and assembly.
It’s worth noting that shipping, duties and tariffs are included in the prices we quote. Each situation is really quite unique so we would be happy to chat about what delivery can look like for you, based on your table, your location, and your schedule.
Whichever delivery option you choose, you will receive a table built specifically for you. We will build, finish and pack your table which takes 5-7 weeks. After that we arrange for shipping. If you need your table sooner, we may be able to expedite production or the shipping. In this case, reach out to us and we’re happy to chat about what the options could be.
A Rustic Charm and a Textured Feel
Josh’s Comments on The Barron Rectangle
I love the Barron collection, I think it's beautiful, and has a wonderful distinct style and feel. And I don't just mean metaphorically. It quite literally has its own feel. The rustic maple we use to build these tables has saw marks from when the wood was milled. Marks that are sanded off the rest of our tables. Now not to worry, these tables get coated to take off any sharp edges or corners. That said, you'll still feel the texture. You'll also see the texture, the rougher spots take much more stain and get much darker, highlighting the mill markings in the wood. This makes for a beautiful rustic thick table top.

This is such a sturdy table. With a significant, solid base it isn't going anywhere. It's heavy. If you're looking for a table to dance on, this might be the one for you. And it's maple. Maple, for anyone who doesn't know, is very hard. It will take a bit of a beating and stand firm. Especially with the rustic texture helping hide a few little nicks, this table will hold up. The Barron collection is really ready for whatever you have to throw at it, and will stay ready for it for a long time to come.
