A Sproat base is a steel starburst shaped pedestal base.
What is it?
A sproat base is a steel starburst shaped pedestal base. It is made from 1”x3” steel tube which provides strength without adding undue weight. The base is 20” wide and 48” long. It includes adjustable feel to help level the table.
Can I customize it?
Yes, you can customize the leg to suit your table. We can make this leg in custom heights and custom widths. We also have it available in 8 colors: satin black, gunmetal, silver, satin white, burnt penny, bronze, nickel, and gold.
How does it work with seating?
The sproat base is an interesting looking base. Functionally, on the ends you can tuck chairs in and guests should be able to extend their legs between the top and bottom of the starburst. On the side of the table, the base comes fairly close which means that chairs may not tuck in all the way and guests may not be able to stretch their legs under the center of the table.
