The Alta base is a wood base designed for extendable tables.
What is it?
The Alta base is a wood base that is made of 4 legs that have an X shaped footprint with an arch type cutout. This base has a delicate mid century modern feel to it. For consistency, the type of wood and the finish will be the same as the table top. These legs come with adjustable feet to help level the table.
Can I customize it?
Yes - you can customize the height of the base to suit your table. The size of the base will be scaled to your table top.
How does it work with seating?
As a pedestal base, the Alta base makes it easy to tuck chairs in or to sit around the table. The one exception is with a small or narrow table, the base can be a bit close to the side of the table. We recommend this base with round tables.
