Add a touch of fun to your kitchen or dining room with this round walnut dining table. This table is made of walnut and fits well into a midcentury style space. The natural finish on the walnut and the custom base give the table its midcentury style. As a round table, it is perfect for kitchens and other high traffic areas. The table pictured is 60" x 60" and seats 4-6 people.

The table top is just over 1" thick and has been made with locally sourced maple.  We hand rub an all-natural oil into the wood to give it a matte finish.. We like this food-safe finish because it is durable, having been originally designed for floors. 

At Loewen Design Studios, we build each of our dining tables one at a time, just for you, just the way that’s right for you. That’s exactly what we did with this one. It was inspired by another table on our site and then customized for its new home. 

Here’s how this table came to be:

The original inspiration for this table was a similar table we’ve built before, but the people who sit around this table now-a-days wanted to make a couple changes. (Here is the listing for the inspiration if you’re curious https://www.etsy.com/listing/1398661640/)
They liked the Seymour edge, which at just over 1" thick gives the table a tailored appearance. They also liked the walnut with the natural finish that highlights the beautiful coloring in the wood. The round shape of the table was good too for busy areas as traffic can flow around it easily. The main change was the base. The customer wanted a midcentury style base and liked the delicate look of this one. So we made this for them as a custom base.

Our standard shipping process involves us sending your table with a freight carrier for curbside delivery. To send your table with a carrier, we will securely pack it up in several layers of packaging, finishing it off with cardboard. We will pack your tabletop, legs, and extensions (if applicable) in different boxes, arrange for pick up and send you the tracking information. Once your table is in your local depot, the local carrier will reach out to arrange for delivery. In this case, delivery means that your table will be delivered to the end of your driveway. From here you can bring the boxes into your home and assemble the table. Assembly is generally pretty simple and we will supply all hardware and assembly instructions. Most tables can be carried in and assembled by 2 people; larger tables may require some additional hands. These shipments are typically delivered within 7-14 days of when we ship.

We also offer white glove delivery as an option for deliveries to most metro areas of the US. (if you are wondering if white glove delivery is an option in your area, please message us). For this service we blanket wrap your table, legs and extensions and send them to our white glove delivery partner in North Carolina. Again, once the table is in your local depot, you will be able to book your delivery which means that 2 people will bring your table to your home, carry it in, assemble it and remove all the the packaging. Timelines for white glove delivery typically range from 14-28 days depending on the delivery location. Message us for more specific information for your location.

Whichever delivery option you choose, you will receive a table built specifically for you. We will build, finish and pack your table which takes 4-6 weeks. After that we arrange for shipping.
