Depending on where you need your tables and or chairs delivered, we will adjust our shipping to suit you. For most of the US, white glove delivery service is available. They will assemble everything and take away the packing materials. If you are interested in this service, provide us with your delivery zip code so we can confirm service availability and the shipping timeline.
Deliveries between Boston and DC as well as most deliveries in Ontario are done by our own team directly.
We also ship with the local freight carrier which will take 1-2 weeks. They provide curbside delivery and you will need to bring the table into your space and assemble it.

We build our furniture with hardwoods - Walnut, oak, ash and maple. Each of these woods have different charms and characteristics that make them perfect for different projects.
Solid hardwood creates pieces of furniture that will last a lifetime. They can be sanded down and refinished and still be as strong as they were when first built.
As a natural product, wood is affected by heat and moisture. We take a number of steps to manage these tendencies in the wood. First and foremost, we start with kiln-dried wood. In addition, all of our tables over 28” wide will have stabilizer bars inset on the bottom of the table to help keep everything level.
All of our tables are made with solid hardwood that can be sanded and refinished. We do use veneers for the backs of cabinets and shelving.
Most big box stores use mdf and veneers extensively in their tables as hardwoods are expensive.
We use Rubio Monocoat to finish almost all of our tables. It's an all natural oil that bonds to the wood fibers and cures to a hardened wax with a matte finish. This product was originally developed for floors so has been designed for wood surfaces that get used. Clean ups are quite simple. A warm, damp cloth will take care of most messes. On our rustic maple tables we use a lacquer finish instead of Rubio to create a thicker layer of finish to reduce the texture on the table top. If you wanted the Rubio application but prefer a satin finish over the matte, we can also accommodate that.
In some places online, terms like walnut or oak are used to refer to colors of stain. For our purposes, walnut, oak, maple and ash refer to the species of wood we use to build your furniture. We have a variety of options for finishing the wood; it’s important to note though, that the natural coloring and graining of the wood affects how the finish looks on any given piece of wood.
The tables in the photos on our site are pieces that have gone through our shop and are now in their new homes. The table we will build for you will look similar but will be unique because the wood naturally has some variations.
Caring for your hardwood table is quite easy. A damp cloth will clean up most messes. For more stubborn messes, you can use the surface cleaner that we will include with your table.
Hardwood is generally very strong and can handle normal everyday use. We would recommend considering using Rock Maple wood for your table as it is the hardest of the woods we work with. The finish we use was originally designed for hardwood floors so it is also quite robust. We would be happy to chat further with you about your particular situation to make more detailed recommendations..
We have worked with many customers who have banquette seating. These settings are usually quite unique and we typically recommend starting with a conversation and a drawing of your space. That said, we have found that often a pedestal table with a rectangular top works well, especially if the top has rounded corners.
