This summer we did something new.

A family reached out to us, they were building a new home, and they needed to furnish it. They asked if we would build them the furniture for the house. Now, not everything, just the wood stuff. Well we always love a challenge, so we said yes. Read on to learn more about this project.

Every table has a base. They all touch the ground somehow. At least, until someone figures out floating tables. (I'm thinking magnets, scientists get on it.) Table bases are all basically one of four different styles: Pedestal, Trestle, 2 legs, or 4 legs. I'll call the 4 legs Parson. Let's explore each one.

Let’s face it, we all have ‘stuff’ that we need to organize. Whether it’s our favorite collectibles, those useful things we use everyday, or special occasion things, we need ways to corral it all in a way that we can find it when we need it. The solution is custom cabinetry.

TLDR: I'm friends with firefighters now. Also they have a swanky new table.

For the perfect event you need the right set up. And we got to be part of a very fun event recently as the planner's vision included a beer garden with custom tables. 

Sometimes custom projects are REALLY custom. In this case, we were asked to help create a boardroom table with an inlaid slab of granite. This was a fun project to be part of.

We love when we can deliver tables ourselves. So every so often we load up a truck and make deliveries to customers in the northeastern US. In mid-June, Ted’s brother, Tim, headed out on one of these delivery runs.

We all know dining and coffee tables, but what about end tables, console tables, hall tables, and accent tables? Accent tables are often small and decorative, perfect for holding a drink, keys, or a vase of flowers. Hall and console tables are taller and more functional, fitting nicely behind couches or in entryways. End tables are shorter and square.
