Ovals are great tables for conversation. Whether it's sitting along the curve of an ellipse or the end of a racetrack, it's easy to chat.

A lot of different aesthetics and styles could suit the same space. Let's walk through how three kinds of tables could suit the Loewens' kitchen space!

Let's imagine for a moment, it was August, you confidently told your whole family that they should come to your home for Christmas dinner.

So this is relative to the size of the table, and a little bit about your taste. The longest a bench like this should be is the length of the table. This gives a bit of a picnic table look, especially with a bench on both sides. Another option for a bench is 12 inches or 1 foot shorter than the length of the table.

A Trestle Table is typically a table with 2 legs connected by a stretcher. The 2 legs hold the table up, and the stretcher (or stringer) supports them both structurally and visually.

This is a really important question, and the answer depends a little on the table and on how particular you are.
