A Tuttle leg is an I-beam shape with 2 vertical posts in the center.
What is it?
A tuttle leg is an I-beam shape with 2 vertical posts in the center. It is made from 2”x2” steel tube which provides strength without adding undue weight. At the top it is 25” wide and on the floor it is also 25” wide. It comes with adjustable feet to help level the table.
Can I customize it?
Yes, you can customize the leg to suit your table. We can make this leg in custom heights and custom widths. We also have it available in 8 colors: satin black, gunmetal, silver, satin white, burnt penny, bronze, nickel, and gold.
How does it work with seating?
The tuttle leg is a visually interesting leg. The nature of the design means that the person on the end is not able to stretch their legs through it. We typically inset the legs about 14” from the end. If you prefer that they’re placed differently, we can definitely do that. On the sides of the table, the verticals are close enough to the center of the table that chairs should tuck in well and guests should have plenty of leg room.
